Why You Need To Use Video Marketing To Promote Your Recruitment Brand

Video marketing and your recruitment brand? Today I want to talk to you about three specific things to do with video marketing. We all know that video is on the increase, don’t we? You only have to open your Facebook page and you might notice an increase in what people are sharing on Facebook Live.

 

Then as we open our emails we might start to see emails that have video links in them, so it’s growing at an accelerated rate.

 

The data

The data behind the scale of that growth of the impact of video marketing though will open your eyes because; did you know that by 2019, which it’s only a few years away isn’t it, that 80% of traffic on the internet is going to be based on video?

Then here is some important data when it comes to conversion, let’s go back to email because a couple of videos ago we talked about how email marketing can generate the biggest ROI for you from a marketing point of view.

If you put video into an email and you pop video into the title of that email, did you know that you can increase your open rates by an astounding 200% to 300%?

It kind of just blows your mind, doesn’t it? If you are not planning to use video in 2017, I recommend that you change your mind. It can be simple.

 

Here are 3 simple things that you can do

Yes, one, you can invest in getting a professional videographer, get some more formal videos created.

Second thing, you can use simple, informal, more relaxed video content like this, and place it on your blog like this video is. All we’re doing here is using an iPhone and an external mic with a tripod.

The other thing I strongly recommend, whether it’s more formal or informal videos that you’re creating, make sure that you also host them on YouTube so you’re using several different channels to promote your video content.

If you haven’t planned to use video, make you sure you build video content into your marketing plans for 2017 and capitalize on this huge opportunity.
