Are You Making The Most Of LinkedIn Pulse?

Today’s topic is LinkedIn Pulse. It is fantastic to see more Recruitment Companies using LinkedIn Pulse to share content that they’ve created. When you do share content, what is fantastic is that everybody that you’re connected to will be notified that you shared new content.

When someone then views that new content, and let’s say they like it, the fabulous thing is that this content then appears in their feed, which means of course everybody that they’re connected to gets to see your content as well.

Let’s say you share something, and 10, 15, 20 people like it. Maybe more people share it. Now you can see how this can get viral, and how your content can get to a much wider audience.

If you want to make the most of the opportunity of getting your content in front of this massive audience, there are a couple of things that you need to do to get that content working for you even more.

That is, to share, at the end of your article, a brief bio about yourself. It might be 1 or 2 lines about you, 1 or 2 lines about your company, and most importantly, a call to action.

  • Do you want to send that person off to your website to other content
  • To go and register their CV or role requirements with your company, or …..
  • Do you want them to pick up the phone and have a conversation with you?

Make sure at the end of any article that you post on LinkedIn Pulse you include an author bio.

Something about you, the company, and importantly have a call to action. Here is an example of a post I added this morning; click here.
Then when you get this content in front of that huge wide audience, you are making that content work for you from a marketing point of view. That’s Sharon from Superfast Recruitment, with a recruitment marketing update.
