3 Marketing Questions For Spring

Hi! This is Sharon from Super Fast Recruitment with a recruitment marketing update. This week’s topic is about where are you at with your marketing? There are 3 key questions we share with all of our clients that I want to share with you today. The Easter holidays have just happened for many of us when we take a break from work. For many you could be at the start of a new business year. You could be into the 2nd quarter of your business year and some of you, may even be half way through – it does not matter. As we come back from a holiday we are probably all reflecting on where we are in terms of what we have achieved in our business year. Any easy way to identify these areas is to ask yourself three key questions.

 

What happened so far in your business year with your marketing?

Is your marketing achieving what it is you are wanting it to achieve? Are you doing what you committed to or what you set out to do with LinkedIn? What about your content marketing? Is that delivering the number, the volume, and the quality of inbound leads that you are wanting it to generate? If not, what’s missing? So the first question we always ask our clients is ‘what has happened so far?’ The second question is

If you are not quite achieving what you want to achieve with your marketing, what do you want to start focusing on as you move into the second phase of this business year? It could be to really stick to those 15 minutes a day that you committed to on LinkedIn. It could be that you are going to blog once a week. It might be thinking about where I am sharing the content that I am creating because I am creating it but I am not getting it out to as many channels as maybe I want to be. So really think about what is missing that will help you achieve what it is that you want to achieve with your marketing in this next part of the year. Maybe we can lead up to the summer holidays which will be your next break.

The third question then, based on what‘s happened so far and what’s missing, is what are you going to do about it? What are you going to commit to? And that question is ‘what’s next?’ So just take a little bit of time as we move into this week to just reflect on those 3 key questions – What’s happened so far?; What’s missing?; What do you want to do next; in order to get to the end of the next quarter or the next part of your financial year and to achieve the goals that you set out to achieve?
