Hi! This is Sharon Newey from Super Fast Recruitment with a recruitment marketing update. Now I was speaking recently about planning for 2014 and how you need to do some data analysis and review before you can plan. Now the other thing that we found ourselves talking to potential clients and clients about for next year, is how they want to continue their engagement both with clients and candidates and how do they evolve the content they’re sharing as they move forward into next year.
Of course if you’re going to be sharing content with clients and candidates, you do want to add value and so their going to open it and are going to read it and hence can be engaged. So how do you do that? Well there is a number of very very simple ways that you can discover the kind of content that is gonna add value to your clients and candidates?
First of all, you could send out a very simple email and ask clients separately and candidates, what are some of their biggest challenges and problems that they would want some help with. You could actually pick up the phone and just set aside half an hour on a consecutive number of days across the team to do some real life telephone research. And thirdly, you could use a very simple survey tool such as Survey Monkey. I know a number of you already use that and this would be a great opportunity to use it to find out the kind of content that is gonna be valuable to candidates and clients.
So it’s a really short and sweet video today. Before you start planning any content for next year, make sure the content that you create is going to add value.
